Regulations or Double Standards?🚨
SEC Chairman Gary Gensler is under fire for an old video in which he was found shilling Algorand - a token the SEC deemed an unregistered security last week. Talk about mixed messages!
A 4-year-old video of Gensler praising Algorand's "great technology" at MIT has resurfaced online, where he was contemplating the benefits of “high-performance” smart contract platforms.
Ironically, Algorand is one of six tokens that the SEC has targeted in its recent lawsuit against the crypto trading platform Bittrex. That's right, the same token that Gensler was gushing over!
All we can say is, "Oof." Maybe Gensler should stick to regulating instead of recommending. But hey, at least we know he's got good taste in tokens... or does he? 🤔
Microstrategy innovating at “Lightning” speed 🙌

Fans have been testing out the feature by sending him 21 Satoshis, and we can't blame them! It's a pretty cool way to show their support for the cause 🙌
Word on the street is that Microstrategy has integrated the Lightning feature into all its corporate addresses as well, meaning employees can modify their email addresses to be compatible with Bitcoin Lightning Addresses 🤯 That means they can receive payments in $BTC just by entering their email address! ⚡
From email to wallet in the blink of an eye, MicroStrategy's lightning integration is taking Bitcoin to the sky! ⚡️
The apple of every saver's eye 🍎
Apple's new savings account is putting the "smart" in "smartphone" regarding money management! 💡 Teaming up with Goldman Sachs, Apple has launched its new savings account, offering a 4.5% APY (i.e 10 times the average APY on savings accounts in the US). Seriously, this is like winning the savings account lottery!
The new savings account will have no fees, minimum deposits, or minimum balance requirements. It looks like they're literally begging you to save your money! 💸
While all the Daily Cash users earn on their Apple Card purchases will be deposited straight into their savings account, they can also deposit additional funds in the savings account from their linked bank accounts ✅
Looks like Apple's not just taking a bite out of the smartphone market but the savings account game too!
Meme of the day
When you bought $100 of Algorand because Gary Gensler said Uber would be built on it but now you have only $5.
And that's a wrap for today’s crypto roundup❗ Whether you're a Bitcoin believer, an Ethereum enthusiast, or a Cardano crusader, remember that we're all united by our passion for the possibilities of blockchain! So let's keep exploring, learning, and keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible! Until next time, folks 🙌
