Trezor takes privacy to the next level with CoinJoin implementation!

Hardware wallet Trezor just became the first to implement CoinJoin, a privacy-enhancing feature to make it easier to keep your Bitcoin transactions private. 🔒

With this integration, users can mix their funds with others, obscuring the origins and destinations of their crypto. No more unwanted eyes on your finances 💰

This update was met with pushback by the community thought because Wasabi Wallet pays Chainalysis to surveil incoming transactions. This is explained well in the thread below 👇

Tldr: Wasabi's tool is a total bow-down to government censorship🙈 It blocks BTC transactions that are for things like buying guns & ammo, sexual content, alleged copyright violations, credit repair services & much more. It also states that they are under no obligation to tell you why you're blocked! Although, on one hand, such censorship makes sense to avoid the increase in illicit activities using BTC, it also raises an important question among the community: If a third party can execute illicit activity checking and control over the Bitcoin transactions, is privacy being enhanced or compromised? 🤔

This being said, if you still would like to enable CoinJoin, you can open a new account on the Trezor menu and select the feature alongside other account types, like SegWit and Taproot, note this is only available on the Trezor Model T❗️

For maximum privacy, users can also enable the anonymous communication protocol Tor.

Donald Trump launches 2nd NFT collection 👀 

Trump is back with a bang❗️The former president has launched his second series of NFTs featuring different art, traits, and more NFTs than the previous collection, which are already making waves in the digital art world! 🌊 

The floor price of the NFTs remains the same at $99, but there's a twist. Trump is offering a sweepstakes program that gives collectors a chance to win a private dinner with him at his Mar-a-Lago home if they purchase 47 cards!

Despite being indicted recently, his NFT game is undoubtedly on track! It looks like he wants to make “Digital Art Great Again” 😅 

Gary Gensler’s Congressional testimony goes off the rails 😢 

Gary Gensler's recent testimony on crypto before the House Financial Services Committee on April 18th left investors scratching their heads as he stumbled over important questions and looked completely clueless while answering the others 🤔 

Even simple questions like "Have you found any way in the crypto to prevent wash trading?" and "Is it more difficult now for the digital assets industry to access financial products and services in the U.S?" seemed to stump the SEC Chair. 💥

Even more concerning were questions about his meetings with FTX before its collapse and Ethereum's regulatory classification, which he couldn’t answer with the transparency investors were looking for 🙅‍♂️ It looks like Gensler has some homework to do before any important decisions are made 🤨
